As a presenter for the Wellbeing Project in St Helens and Halton, an award winning social enterprise, Crescendo delivers innovative conferences and workshops that teach people through music and choral singing, how to stay resilient during difficult times and improve their health and wellbeing.

As a presenter in the “Ignite your Life” programme we take health professionals, teachers and community groups on an energising journey of discovering their creativity through interactive and fun vocalisations, warm up exercises and performance.

We discover the benefits of singing on lung capacity, the cardio vascular system and in the release of the feel good hormones, serotonin and endorphins. We look at the benefits of choral singing in our communities on the individuals self esteem and confidence through the courage and teamwork it takes to put on a performance in our community for our community.  We find how singing in a choir  can improve communication and reduce levels of stress and anxiety.

We look at the benefits to our wellbeing of being involved in our community, of learning new skills and of taking part in a creative pursuit that is life enhancing.
